We’d love to give a huge welcome to our newest Wellness Team member, Katie Sells! We’re excited to have her join the Freedom Home Care team over at the Sheridan at Green Oaks. She has experience is a caregiver and is eager to start her new role. Learn more about her below with a Q&A:

Questions & Answers

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

A: Hi, my name is Katie Sells. I am the newest member of the Wellness Team over at the
Sheridan at Green Oaks. I am so excited to be part of the wellness team to provide
fitness, health and wellness to all the residents.

Q: What were you doing before starting with Freedom Home Care?

A: My background has been in caregiving for the elderly. I have been a caregiver for a little
over 5 years. I love caring for people who need a little extra help. It has always been my
passion.

Q: What’s your favorite part about the caregiving field?

A: My favorite part is building a relationship with the elderly and hearing all of their
stories. It is so precious and meaningful to me. I want to continue to make a difference in
someone’s life. The wellness coordinator is a new role for me but with all my passion and
drive I know it will be a perfect fit. I’m so excited to be a part of The Sheridan Green Oaks
team.

Q: What do you like doing in your free time?

A: In my free time, I take care of my two boys Eli, 8 years old and Jacob, 4 years old. They
keep me pretty busy. I enjoy going to the beach with them. We love to collect beach glass
and unique rocks. I also enjoy traveling to new adventurous destinations! I know that I
am a better mother from all the insight that the elderly have taught me!

Q: Is there anything else you would like to say?

A: I am also available for caregiving if you know of anyone going through a medical set back.
It can be a short term or long term care need. Please ask how I can help. I would love to
